Category: Communications

We just heard about some changes to the middle and high school admissions process that we wanted to share with our families. Take a look below to learn more, and let us know on Facebook what your thoughts are!

What are some of the changes?

  • One application round
  • Waitlist position revealed

Who do these changes apply to?

Students applying to enter middle and high school for the 2020-2021 school year.

How does the process work now?

Currently, parents need to submit a first round application between October to December. Placement decisions, including those pertaining to specialized high schools, are scheduled to be communicated in March. At that time, if the student is not offered a seat into a first choice school, parents must then complete a second application round. Results from the second round of applications are scheduled to be communicated in May (or even June). Want more info? Email [email protected].
