Each Content Clinic includes

Algebra

The Algebra Content Clinic is perfect for students who need more practice with:

  • solving algebraic equations and word problems
  • solving inequalities
  • solving problems dealing with imaginary operations and absolute value

Geometry & Measurements

The Geometry & Measurements Content Clinic is perfect for students who need more practice with:

  • solving for the measures of two- and three-dimensional figures
  • understanding angles of triangles and other two-dimensional shapes
  • interpreting and performing operations with number lines

Poetry

The Poetry Content Clinic is perfect for students who need more practice with:

  • breaking down and annotating a poem for understanding
  • generating a main idea to support with answering the comprehension questions
  • identifying question types to understand how to best tackle the question

Probability & Statistics

The Probability & Statistics Content Clinic is perfect for students who need more practice with:

  • measures of central tendency (mean, median, mode, and range)
  • independent and dependent probability problems
  • counting principle skills

SHSAT On-Demand: Foundations, Applications, & Reinforcement

Welcome to your On-Demand SHSAT program! You have access to three semesters: Foundations, Applications, and Reinforcement.

Foundations
The best time to complete this semester is during 7th grade. (Students taking our live program take this semester in the winter of their 7th grade.)

This semester consists of 12 classes split into 12 units. Each class is 2.5 hours long, and is split between ELA and Math.

Applications
The best time to complete the Applications semester is during 7th grade. (Students taking the live version of this program take this semester in the spring of their 7th grade.)

This semester consists of 8 classes split into 8 units. There are 2 Practice Tests this semester. Each class is 2.5 hours long, and is split between ELA and Math. Tests are 3 hours long.

Reinforcement
The best time to complete the Reinforcement semester is during 8th grade, before the SHSAT. (Students taking the live version of this program take this semester in the fall of their 8th grade.)

This semester consists of 6 classes split into 6 units. There are 3 Practice Tests this semester. Each class is 2.5 hours long, and is split between ELA and Math. Tests are 3 hours long.
